Major causes of a sub-macular hemorrhage are Neovascular AMD, PCV & retinal macro aneurysms. Natural sequelae when left untreated includes macular scar & sub-retinal fibrosis.Various management options are there which includes intravitreal anti VEGFs, pneumatic displacement with positioning & vitrectomy with sub-retinal tpa or combination of these. In this video we demonstrate a technique to surgically remove this hemorrhage from the sub retinal plane.
