Tips and tricks in the use of fragmatome: Pars Plana Lensectomy of a hard cataract
This is the case of an 82 years old male who was referred to the retina department due to a posterior capsular rupture and impending nucleus drop of a dense cataract. Notably, there is a superotemporal corneal scar resulting from a previously treated ulcer, along with a small capsulorhexis. Throughout the video, I will highlight the critical thinking process employed during the case and discuss the tips and tricks for successful management of pars plana lensectomy using the fragmatome.
