Slippage and bleed in a myopic giant retinal tear
This is a case of slippage and bleed in a myopic giant retinal tear. After securing the ports vitrectomy is being carried out to relieve the vitreous from the edges of tear. PFCL is injected to unfold the retina and to flatten it. 360-degree endo laser is done. This is followed by air PFCL exchange. The edges the of the tear are kept dry.
Following this maneuver slippage is noted along with bleeding in the supero-temporal quadrant likely due to inadvertent touch of the cutter
