Retinal detachment secondary to Stickler Syndrome
A nine year old boy with a sudden lose of vision in right eye for about one month, it was diagnosed as rhegmatogenous retinal detachment and choroidal detachment, and cataract. Patient received lensectomy and vitrectomy under general anethesia. The eye presented with aan over 10 clocks dialysis of ora serrata and severe PVR. Weekly 0.25mg MTX intravitreal injection was performed post operation for 3 times in order to prevent fibrosis and scar formation. And the result is good.
