Intraoperative FA Guided Surgery in Sickle Cell Retinopathy

This is a 42yo phakic female patient with sickle-cell anemia (SC trait). Dense vitreous hemorrhage, proliferative fibrous tissue and membrane are found secondary to PSCR. Generalized hypo-perfusion was well visualized with intraoperative FA which permitted a guided laser treatment. Posterior pole membranes were carefully addressed achieving great and stable visual outcome.
