Vitreoretinal Surgery for PVR-RD in a Child with Buphthalmos

This was a one eyed 6-yo boy with PVR RD associated with buphthalmos. Here we do PPL and PPV. There were starfolds in the periphery and napkin ring caused by the subretinal bands around the ONH area. Bimanual membrane peeling and posterior retinotomies were used to extract the napkin ring around the ONH. ILMP was performed under PFCL after staining with BB. 5000cs SO was used as a tamponade.
