Enhanced ILM peeling by DAVS: Personalized membrane blue filter

This is the case of a 60 years old female who was scheduled for vitrectomy and ILM peel for a primary macular hole. Brilliant blue was instilled in a controlled manner over the macula. The custom membrane blue enhancer is activated and a high contrast is noticed between the ILM and the retina. DAVS enables the surgeon to customize the surgical images in real time, enhancing the visibility of intraocular tissues, leading to a more precise procedure and reducing the need of restaining.
