COVID Story

This is a story of a lady who developed RRD in her only seeing eye on top of an opaque cornea, which crippled her during COVID lockdown in 2020 in Jordan. No corneal tissue was available, so decision made to fix the detachment with landers keratoprosthesis visualization and re implant the same corneal tissue until optical graft is available, one year later, silicone oil removal with scleral fixation IOL and corneal graft was done and the patient achieved 20/200 vision.
