A VISIONARY COMEBACK
An elderly male patient presented with a history of abandoned cataract surgery, retained lens matter, intraocular pressure (IOP) >60 mmHg, and iridodialysis. He underwent lensectomy, pars plana vitrectomy (PPV), and scleral-fixated intraocular lens (SFIOL) implantation. The procedure was aimed at removing residual lens material, managing elevated IOP, and restoring visual function. Postoperatively, the patient's vision improved to 6/9p.
