PPV surgery w/ silicon oil combined with a large radial and circumferential retinectomy. After removal of all epiretinal and subretinal membranes and 360° retinectomy, the macula is still folded and displaced inferiorly, and the retina is fixed and contracted. To reattach, an add'l small temporal radial retinectomy was performed plus an extensive nasal radial retinectomy. The retina was rotated back into position and PFC was gently injected; the retina was reattached and macula unfolded
