Choroidal Patch Graft Surgery for Massive Submacular Hemorrhage Associated with Wet AMD

Surgery starts with complete vitrectomy and retinal detachment is induced by infusing BSS under the retina with the help of 39G needle in different quadrants. Peripheral retinotomy was performed in 200 degrees. Subretinal heme-neovascularization complex is then mobilized and cleared with vitrector by bimanual maneuvers. Donor area in the temporal quadrant is prepared by applying diathermi& laser to the borders. It is important to drag the graft without lifting it from the surface.
