Triple freeze-thaw technique
A 38 years old female who presented with sudden painless vision loss of her right eye. She was diagnosed with a spontaneous vitreous hemorrhage and subsequently programed for a vitrectomy to remove the VH. During surgery she was found to have a massive subretinal lipid exudation, some fibrotic vitreous bands in the periphery and a small reddish mass suggestive of a Vaso Proliferative tumor.
Here we show how to apply a "triple freeze-thaw" technique to effectively promote tumor regression.
